"Our first pieces came to life in my grandmother's small living room. My mother and I sketched designs and my grandmother meticulously hand-stitched all of our first samples. My cousin and I wore the samples for months afterward, testing them in every way that we could. Together, we became the first to introduce natural stones into functional clothing.
